Vinyl Design

This is an album redesign based on the album “Let’s Take it to the Stage” by the funky music group Funkadelic. The album's design mimics the craziness of the group by incorporating key design concepts from the original work. The original artwork had illustrations of the group embers in funky outfits, which I carried over into the lettering on the front cover. There are ten group members and ten letters in the word “funkadelic”. Each letter is designed to match the clothing of each band member. The inside has characteristics of their outfits surrounding the lyrics and inside information. The back has the song names depicted on red eyes since most of their creativity stemmed from marijuana indulgence.
